מטרות הקורס: בסיום הקורס הסטודנט: יפתח תפיסה קהילתית ויבחן את ההשלכות של מאפייני הקהילה על הבריאות: יגדיר את המושג קהילה. יתאר מאפיינים דמוגרפיים, חברתיים ותרבותיים והשפעתם על בריאות הקהילה. יאמוד מאפייני קהילה נבחרת בהקשר לבריאות. יתאר מאפייני אי-שיווין ופערים בבריאות והשפעתם על קבוצות שונות בקהילה. יכיר אוכלוסיות בסיכון בקהילה, את צורכיהן הייחודיים בהקשר לבריאותן ודרכי התמודדותן. שיטות הוראה: הרצאות, דיונים, תרגיל, מצגת. נושאי השיעורים: 1. קהילה - הגדרות ומושגי יסוד. 2. אומדן קהילה: מאפיינים דמוגרפיים, חברתיים ותרבותיים והשפעתם על בריאות הקהילה. 3. השפעת המשאבים בקהילה )שירותים, ארגונים, מוסדות ) על בריאותה. 4. השפעות אקולוגיות על בריאות הקהילה. 5. אי-שוויון ופערים בבריאות והשפעתם על קבוצות שונות בקהילה. 6. אוכלוסיות ייחודיות בקהילה. 7. מאפייני הסיעוד בקהילה. דרישות הקורס: הנוכחות בכל השיעורים חובה בהתאם לתקנון התוכנית. הנוכחות בשיעורים היא תנאי להגשת העבודה. ביצוע מטלות / תרגילים לפי הנחיות המרצה. דרישות מוקדמות: אין ציון : מצגת/עבודה מסכמת - 100% ציון עובר 60 ספרות חובה: אבני, ש., אברבוך, א. )2017(. שוויון בבריאות בכל מדיניות- שב"מ: חוברת הדרכה לתכנון והערכת מדיניות בריאות מכוונת שוויון. https://www.health.gov.il/publicationsfiles/heiap.pdf

Problems once treated in the hospital are now treated in various
community-based frameworks. Community nurses must be familiar with the expanded array of services in the community in order to ensure efficient and proper holistic service. The course will deal with developing a community-based perspective and will examine the impact of the community s features on health. Aims of the course: By the end of the course the student will: Develop a community-based perception and examine the implications of the community's features for health: Define the concept of community Describe demographic, social, and cultural characteristics and their effect on community health Assess the qualities of a selected community in the health context Teaching methods: Lectures, discussions, exercise, presentation Course topics: 1. Community definitions and fundamental concepts 2. Demographic, social, and cultural characteristics and their effect on community health 3. Effect of community resources (services, organizations, institutions) on its health 4. Ecological effects on community health 5. Instructions for the Final Assignment in the Course "Introduction to Community Health" The aim: Presentation and discussion of select topics that affect community health. Instructions for presentation in class: 1. Choose a health-related topic and receive the approval of the course coordinator. 2. Describe the topic, bringing information sources. Base your description on 2-3 recent articles. 3. Present comparative data on the topic in Israel/the world. 4. Describe the effect of the topic on the community. 5. Describe the methods that should be utilized in coping with the topic (political/educational/other). 6. Summarize the topic. Time of presentation in class 15-20 minutes The assignment shall be performed in couples. Academic rules of writing should be maintained in submitting the assignment in class and in written form. A CD with the presentation should be submitted to the course coordinator at the conclusion of the presentation in class.
