תאור כללי של הקורס: במסגרת הקורס נדון במעמדן המרכזי והפגיע של תדמיות בזירה הציבורית מנקודת המבט של חקר השיח. נכיר את הגישות התיאורטיות השונות המתייחסות למושג תדמית וננתח באמצעותן את השלבים השונים של משברים תדמיתיים בתקשורת. ליבת הקורס תתמקד באסטרטגיות הרטוריות והתקשורתיות שבהן משתמשים אישי ציבור, ארגונים ומוסדות במטרה לשקם את תדמיתם פגועה: התנצלויות, תירוצים, הצדקות, שתיקות, שקרים, ספינים ועוד. המשברים התדמיתיים ייבחנו במגוון רחב של הקשרים ציבוריים פוליטיים, מסחריים ופופולאריים. מטרות הקורס: היכרות תיאורטית ואמפירית עם השלבים השונים באירועים משבריים בזירה הפוליטית, המסחרית והתרבותית, תוך שימת דגש על האמצעים המופעלים לתיקון המשבר. תוצרי למידה בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים: התלמידים בקורס יוכלו לתאר את הגישות השונות לחקר תהליכי משבר ותיקונו במדיה ולהבחין בין האסטרטגיות המרכזיות לתיקון משבר תדמיתי. כמו כן, התלמידים יוכלו לזהות אסטרטגיות מתאימות לתיקון משברים שונים ולהעריך את האפקטיביות של אסטרטגיות תיקון תדמית שונות. בנוסף, התלמידים יוכלו לבקר שימושים לא אתיים באסטרטגיות אפולוגטיות שונות. דרישות נוכחות (%): 80 שיטת ההוראה בקורס:הרצאה רשימת נושאים / תכנית הלימודים בקורס: 1. מבוא: תדמית ואמצעי תיקון בפרספקטיבה של חקר השיח Discourse) (Analysis 2. תהליכים משבריים 3. תדמית בשלבי המשבר השונים שלב ההפרה שלב הקונפליקט: שיח ההאשמות שלב התיקון: הסברים, תירוצים, הצדקות והתנצלויות, שתיקות, שקרים וספינים. שלב ההדרה/הכללה 4. ניתוח מקרים בהקשרים פוליטיים, מסחריים ופופולאריים חומר חובה לקריאה: Benoit, W.
